1. B, lipid studies. Assess other cardiovascular/stroke RFs. The rest are only done if initial tests are abnormal, eg, if low K+, assess renin, aldosterone. 2.D. Weight loss. Excess weight is associated with HTN. Stress in not. 3. C. U/S abdo 4. Malignancy. High protein/LDH. Also lymphocytic predominance.
