Hello everybody!..There was a question posted "q" on 3rd feb.. about a female patient who had lost interest in sexual contact after an appendectomy....Well after reading the question , I was, quite frankly confused... :? ..So i looked it up and the actual wording of the question is: Following surgery for the removal of her appendix, a female patient comes to you complaining of a lack of interest in sexual contact with her husband."We have been fighting so much lately," she says. "Between that and the pressure I feel at work, I just dont know what to do anymore." Medical History shows that she has been taking DIAZEPAM for the past two years and oral contraceptives for the past five years. Which of the following can be safely EXCLUDED as UNlikely to result in suppression of Libido? a.Oral contraceptives b.Martial discord c.Postoperative recovery d.work stress e. Diazepam The answer is E.....because all the others DO cause loss in libido.. ps. thanks to all those ppl posting questions...
