Hello all, I am an international medical graduate, now in US for about 8 months. I am afraid that my fluency haven't improved at all! I am not sure how to improve it! I was just wondering whetehr this might play a role during interview. Moreover, to practice here--I think we must have a good fluent english. Any ideas on that friends to improve?

Improvement in English is a gradual process and you might not notice it. You feel you didnot improve becoz you compare yourself with native English speakers. But If you talk or write to one of your freinds in your country, they will tell you that your English is improved ( that is what happened to me). You are trying to improve your language, you will defenitely get good results, it is very easy compared to studying medicine. Before your interview, you should pass USMLE step 1, 2CK, 2CS. In the best situations, it will take at least 1 year for you to get into an interview. During this time, your English will defenitely improve.
