i have completed CNS today..done few qs from the kaplan book..but already lagging two days behind 
i am not being able to cover the target per hour.. that is the primary goal i want to achieve for now..hope i wud be able to cover pharma as i planned.

hello journal..back after a few days..thought of writing here only after i finish pharma....it took long time than i expected..reading very slowly ..thats the main reasons..with this net distractimg me .. so thought of coming online less....coz if i come online .. a lot of time just gets wasted here n thr thats fruit less!!
anyways..i tried hard to finish it today..antimicrobials, anticancer toxicology and whole sec 6 and 7 were left for today. finished antimicrobials now..wil start anti cancer . bt doesnt look like i can finish the other two sections.
planning to start anatomy tomorrow..and then finish this part in between.
how u all r doing ??

they helped me do renal well
i wish i had done them for all systems

i finished pharma yesterday nite,and today i am going to start anatomy.hope i can stick to my schedule.
i wil do HY gross anat,HY neuro, bt histo - that also i need to read from HY ?? or only the slides will suffice ??

Today i started very late..i am now adjusting myself to study late night ..coz if i manage to wake up early one day..i feel sleepy as the day progresses!!
so its better to fix it like study till 1-2 and wake up at 8 !! bt i am just not able to skip the afternoon nap at around 2.30-3....my brain and eyes just gets shut down..even if i try to keep awake !!
i did only 50 pages of gross anat ystrday..lets see if i can cover most of it today.days are just fying by....i have to catch up very soon..i need to stay focussed.

I am back after a few days..the weather here is horrible..raining continuously for last 3 days..everywhere water logged!! i cudnt read properly for 2/3 days..a bit sick ..oh no..again i am giving excuses..i cudnt do..thats it..now i have to hurry up to finish the back-log.
i finished gross anatomy..will do embryology after that.
neuroanat is still left..thats a huge spart for me.
only 2 mnths to go....i need to be very strict and disciplined from now on and have to do very well.
May God give me the strength to stay focussed and achieve my dream !!

a part of neuroanatomy is still left..i started with micro ysterday..trying to finish this week.then i will cover the portions that i left in other subjects.

Ok..so i have finished bacteriology..took two full days..as my mind keeps wandering..for diff reasons..that is my biggest problem....
i am now doing mycology..hope to finish it today and then do parasitology.Days are just running by..i have to complete micro by this wkend.
Friends, i have FA 2005..do i have to read thru 2007 one ?? pls help me on this

i started behav sc yesterday..i had done this subj partially before....and now i have covered upto sleep disorders..starting from the last chap.. ..i have to complete as much of it as i can tonight.
then will do biostats tomorrow.
hope i can study very hard this week. i have to take UW this wk end. so lots to do.
feeling the pressure as days are passing by..May God give me the strength to carry on.

i was doing some qs from Qbook..though not on a regular basis. but i plan to do few blocks from thr this week before i start with UW.
i will do my second read along wth UW.
today i was reading thru the posts by Askdoc....simply amazing..
i dwnloaded FA 07..but dont know whthr will be able to do it. lets see. otherwise will do FA 05 and portions from 07 .
Today i finished Behav Sc....but biostats portion is left..i wil do that after i finish qs of behav sc from Qbk.
Soo much to do in these three days..
So better i go back to my studies..GL to me and u all..

Please do Qs.I am falling in same trap.Not doing enough Qs.It's amazing how much you can learn from qs.Soemtimes I say to myself I dont have enough time to do this number of qs.But they should be part of the revisions.
I had a gap in my revisions for some reasons.A week.
I finished 2/3 of Micro but I have to go to Anat tomorrow.I want to stick to my plan.
I may have to start my own journal.But I am skeared I will not be regular.
I advise you get FA 2006 or 2007, especially if you want to do revisions by systems.

hi there mydream. wanted to thank you personally for your kind words on my journal. so here i am!
looks like you're doing good. don't slacken off now for any reason. you'll be glad that you didn't.
don't worry about not doing fa '07. if you're currently doing fa '05, and are used to its format, i think you should probably stick to it. coz layout of '05 and '07 differs quite a bit, what with introducing both statemwise and subjectwise sections [since '06 edition, i think], it can get quite confusing. esp if time is short for you, stick with the familiar one. many things we remember by photographic memory[ we sometimes don't even realize it], so on exam day, you don't want to be confused, in spite of knowing the answer.

i like ur creative way of writing a lot..hey..do u write poems?? i am sure u wud be great at that too!! keep it up!!
but know what..i am not feeling at all that i am doing good. everytime i am having the feeling that whatever i am studying is very inadequate.and then i am getting so tensed..that how am i going to reach that point in just few wks..and that too while doing UW which will take a lot of time !!
today i did the second test of behav sc from Q bk..left the stats qs..and got 35 right.and the wrong ones are so confusing !!i felt as if i never read them
today i had to go out for some pending works..so cudnt study in the morn and afternoon. oh !! how to make this 'time' wait for us !!
and yeah..thanks..i will do FA 05..coz time is really short. though i had read it earlier ..only this one..i havnt started it yet this time..so its better to stick to it.

i would say 35 in beh sc is PRETTY DARN GOOD!!! so KEEP IT UP!!! is what i'll say. beh sc is something that really trips people up. so, if you get those right, you've got a head start, and don't lose it!
and, as far as the overwhelming feeling goes, about not knowing enough, it's NOT unique to you. but you must get your confidence from within you, and tell yourself, that what you know - you know. now you must master what you don't know. it's only natural to underestimate your abilities. but, let that be a boost to you, so you can learn more with humility. and not detrimental so you forget what you do know.

and yes ..u r right..its very essential to get that confidence from within..and i am not even near to that !!hope i can get it with the revisions !!
the last few lines are so inspiring !!thank u dear..
well..when i posted yesterday abt the number of qs getting right..i knew i wud post smthing bad the next day ..and really..today i cudnt do much..
i did only 50 qs of pathophysio today..not at all well ..seems like i have to study patho really hard now.
God pls help me so that i can study fast..i need speed reading..no more time
let's hope tomorrow goes well..and i can finish up the things that i planned.

Hi , I might b a bit late re FA suggestion , u already got 2007 , great. I am like u have old FA 2003, subj wise, so proud of I read add there, but bought 2007 any way by high score frd suggestion in 2006 . Reluctant to go to FA 2007 , but why not open, behav Sc in start & anatomy spinal cord, nerves section then , you will say wow , forget about old 2005 FA.
Just my friendly suggestion, since I am also like u will stick to 2003 I read already one then now I am totally into FA 2007 & will not open 2003 old book after all .
But if ur exm is in few weeks then still at least go for neuro 2007 section or flip through it, in ur 2nd read with UW if ur planning to do sytem way especially .
Sorry PHL , being saying different fr ur re ur suggestion of FA 2005 to myD .
