If I find a question that askes what mRNA will be transcrited fron a strand of DNA, should I suppose that the DNA stran is always the coding strand?

mrna is always transcribed from template strand and coding strand is parallel and complimentary to template strand so messenger RNA is like coding strand except T is replaced by U

mRNA is transcribed from the temolate strand of DNA ...the resulting mRNA is identical to the coding strand of the same DNA except for the fact that mRNA contains URACIL instead of THIAMINE.......
