Hi mydream
I was pretty confused myself a little while back....but many people on this forum helped me come to terms with things. Im an IGM as well....I went to a carriben med school. I finshed in Sept 06 but since then I havent been able to focus or study as much as I had hoped to. Iplan on taking my exam in Dec....originally I wanted to do it in Oct. So as you can see I have pushed it. The bottom line is that wechose this path and we truely want to be doctors....and good doctors. If you scored a 72 on yur first try and only studied for a few weeks.....just imagine what you can do if you were given a little bit more time. Everyone has a personal life and everyone has priorities.....but the career we chose doesn't run on excuses. What are you gonna do when you have patients lined up....are you just gonna give up and let someone else take over. No right.....so dont ever give up and dont ever think you can't do it. We can all do it....we just need to focus and give it our all. Thats all it takes.
Focus on yurself for the next 3-4 months. These few months can make yur entire life. Think about it....4 months out of yur entire life. You have to do it. I shouldnt be the one to talk....but you can only rely on someone else for help for sooo long. Evenually yur on yur own. God helps those who help themselves....and if you cant help yurself then no advice is gonna help. So read this, and read whatever anyone else writes and actually take it into consideration and put it into action. The sooner you tell yurself you can d it, the sooner you'll be able to sit down and work at it.
Its yur dream....something you saw and created for yurself....now its up to you to make it happen....and I know you can. And you will. So next time yur on this forum....we need positivity from you....it will make yu feel better, and everyone else feel better as well. We're counting on you.

Please dont say thank you.....honestly its not required....as long as you do well and you got what you needed out of it....thats really all that matters. So no more thank you's please. Im just glad that taking 5 minutes out of my time can help someone. Soooooo.......anytime, anywhere.....as long as it helps you stay focused.
By the way Im glad yur keeping a journal....path is a hard subject to follow. Infact Im doing golijan myself....but Im doing general right now and at the moment Im looking over Fluids and Hemodynamics.....it doesnt look fun. It's all yucky!!!!!
