Thought he meant 'reduced form of NAD', which gets a proton to become NADH, rather than 'reduced' as in quantity?

  #3

maybe he didnt mean decreased by reduced

Yeah, either way, he should have seen how this wording would be confusing, right? He needs to get more people to proofread before final printing nod

May be one day we can contribute in one of these great materials ( RR - FA - what ever! ) but the problem is that i dont want people to get money "on my back". I wouldnt mind doing it if i found a non profit institution or just a volunteer group.

But NADH is increased, not decreased. Reduced form of NAD which is NADH, is increased by alcohol.

He is not Saying whther its INCREASED OR DECREASED, all he is saying in that particular paragraph is

IMP Products of Alcohol Metabolism
1- Reduced Nicotinamide Adenine Nucleotide Which is ABBREVIATED by NADH
2- Acetyl coenyzme A ( Acetyl CoA)

Again by Using Brackets he is telling u the Abrreviations/Short Versions Commonly used.
