i passed the exam ,,,,,,,,,, i did my exam in chicago centre and centre is really good. one more thing i would like to say that i did dr swartz's clinical class for step-2 ck ( c3ny class) and its really helpful . the class gave me confidence and real patient exposure before i went to chicogo for exam. dr swartz told us that the least important thing in this exam is clincal knowlegde and pt notes .thats realy true . most imp part is that how u greet and treat the sp.
try to follow few things ( in real exam)
1) entre the room with smile and introduce ur name first and then sp name
2) always ask about " are u comfortable in lying down or sitting position on the table. if sp says whatever u want then u should speak like that "ur health and ur comfortable is prime concerned for me . whatever u feel comfortable , it is good for me.
3) data gethering and physical examination are important but not that much
4) always shakes hand before leave the room and tell the pt that we wil meet soon when i get ur reports and till then take care .bye .......
dnt take tension about physical examination ,date gethering and pt notes . they all are least imp in the exam.
last thing i forgot to tell u that ...... in between sp encounter ask about family life and how's everything going? sp realy like that when u ask about their life .
thats all i wanted to tell u ,,,guys and best of luck for ur exam ......... think about that u are docter and sps are patient.
