1. Why can pyruvate dehydrogenase be said to be a multienzyme complex and what is its significance in beriberi which results from a thiamine deficiency? 2. Explain in detail the chemiosmotic mechanism in oxidative phosphorylation. 3. with reference to the respiratory complexes of the electron transport chain , explain why NADH oxidation yeilds 3ATP whereas FADH2 oxidation only yeilds 2ATP? not looking for essay length answers but any help would be much appreciated thank you in advance.

idont know about multicomplex but all dehydrogenase require thiamine so in defective in berry berry and ur ans to third question is simple fadh2 enter at Q comlex in oxydative phosphorylation and nadh2 is enter before so atp is produce due to movieng e- that carry energy
