q frm kaplan notes......
a particualr assosiation determines membership based on members IQ score.Only those people who have documeted IQ scores at least two std deviations above the mean on WAIS-R scale are eligible for admisssion.Out of a group of 400 people randomly selected from population at large, how many would be eligible for membership?(WAIS-R means weschsler adult intellligent scale ,revised)

at least two std deviations above the mean-->2.5% of 400 = 10 persons

wrong, its 2.35%, so 400*2.35% = 9.4!
