hi all, how important are these LORs anyway...?
i mean where in the hierarchy of credentials would you put them...?
USMLE scores, USCE with externships>> observerships, LORs, a good personal statement, Residency Experience in Home country in the same specialty one is applying for, fresh graduates vs ripe fruits....!!! , publications with peer reviewed>> non-peer reviewed,.....etc, etc....
can anyone put them in perspective for me...? and order the things in descending...?

Hi Jay, I think it varies widely from program to program..., university programs pay attention to research...
In general terms: Scores-LORs-USCE-Research-Residency-Fresh grad-PS...
Again, it varies a lot...
