first of all may be u should read how bad i felt after the exam ! http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/56852 thanks to tanny (torque, where are u hiding ?), doc_clotaire, young_doc, munnabhai MRCS, arlete, cocacola, alexa, sahota, yolanda, hotobhaga, dncosta, doc 08 and medicus 81, neuroblastoma and thank you (yes im bad at names u c ) graduated in 2004 then did pediatric residency in my home country studied exactly (and only) 4 weeks for step 2. did uworld full = 73% average score kaplan notes full set except little bit of psych+epid and surgery first aid read full once a little bit of cmdt made extensive notes while doing uworld and studied them on the last two days before exam no nbme, kaplan qbank or any other resource studied abt 10 hrs a day exam: i drank a lot of black coffee before and during the exam did first two blocks at one go and then took a break after each one (i highly recommend this strategy) then in last 6 weeks i read for step 1 gave the exam today. same coffee and chocolates. and yes a break after each block... read kaplan notes for everything except neuroanat, embryo - high yield almost skipped gross anat read the whole of big robbins except the last 2 chapters (the points i had marked during my graduation) read my ck notes again (helped) did 70% of uworld (76% avg score) heard first 3 goljan audios read some 150 pages of first aid what didnt help much goljan audio, kaplan path too much of path studying high yield neuro and embryo (thought kaplan was better) what i think should be done first aid , kaplan notes and uworld..pathology i am not sure as to which book because kaplan is terrible and because i read robbins (not recommended too much time needed) i didnt see goljan book but i guess it must be good if u got more time...do these again and again dont run around looking into many books dont run away from pharma graphs got a lot of them in the exam dont run away form population genetics got problems to solve from there got a lot of pediatrics questions if u have less time dont hear goljan because it is difficult to revise and i found the first 3 audiolow yield so i dint go ahead... biochem must know which enzyme resides where...lysosome, mito, cyto, nucleus etc...many questions. most importantly dont follow my advice for step 1 until my score is out !! good luck

That's amazing! 4 weeks and a 258/99. How I wish I could do the same. I guess as a fresh graduate(2004) also helped you. Best of luck with your step 1 score!

received my score. 255/99 in step 1. may b u can try the advice i have posted above. but the most important thing is to remember that there are many many routes to a 99. no study plan is perfect. u have to decide whats best for YOU.
