For IV Drug users: IV Vancomycin + IV Gentamycin
For NON-IV dr user: IV Naficillin + IV Gentamycin

For Dental and Resp. Procedures: Amoxicillin
*If penicillin allergy: Cefazolin, Clindamycin, Clarithromycin.

For GI or GU procedures: Ampicillin + Gentamycin
*If penicillin allergy: Vancomycin + Gentamycin

In GU, give Gentamycin again after the procedure ( i remember reading it in UW, but i also remember Dr Conrad saying not to do this, i would have gone with him but then i remembered the 72hr stool collection for Confirmation of steatorrhea that he said that it not used, yet it was the answer to many qs)

So is it right or not??
