hi guys
my exam was july 20 and till now i got no oasis update or elctronic score. now its august 14 did any one recieve electronic score? till when we have to wait? i am cheaking my email every 10 min every day.
waiting is very hard

Symphathy on you. I guess this month the score will still come by mail. No one in this forum ever receive an electornic score till now. GL with your score.

Need 3 weeks to post results by ECFMG but that should be from Wednesday to Wednesday. So, Ihab your result will come on next Wednesday and if you are in US you will get the mail with in Saturday Or if they send email than you will recieve that on this Thursday. As nobody got any email regarding that newsletter.So, I guess you are getting the paper staffs and try an OASIS trick at Wednesday after 5PM Eastern Standard Time.And dont wait for that as it make you more nervous than what you really are. By the by, did you posted your exam exprience?????Hope this helps...

i am in the us and i will wait till 2morow and do the oasis trick. i post my exp. but on the page of daddy0 just i think its better to post my experiance after my result so every one can assess what i am saying on my score just another day of wait, hope and pray

You sound wise ihab but remember that your experience was your experience and if it isn't 100% heart warming to some people it doesn't mean that others won't benefit from it. If your exam was easier than UW than it was easier if it was harder, like most lately have said, then it was harder. And I think that when people feel like the exam was more difficult than they were expecting and find it to be harder than UW and harder than any of the nbme's but then find out that they got an excellent score then they often just post something like, "the exam is doable, just study the basics and you will be fine, yada yada".
I respect you wanting to wait to share your experience but don't let other people that are negative to genuine feedback let you think that you don't have the right to post what your exact experience was.
If my exam was easier than UW and I had plenty of time to complete every block and review my answers then I would have posted that but instead my exam was extremely long and most of the questions required me to scroll down just to read them. It was also really vague and twisted and I couldn't see how anyone who had a general fund of clinical medicine knowledge could be certain about getting even half of their answers right.
I posted true to my experience and some people don't like you to post any experience except one that will make them feel good 100% of the time but I was true to myself. I just find that a lot of people that wait until they get their score have a much different perspective when it comes to posting their exam experience.

i posted my experiance immediately after my exam and i said the exam was really hard and difficult and i am an IMG with master degree in general surgery with 8 years of clinical experiance and find the surgery qs difficult for me and also the exam is qs were very long with too much lab.that you will not use them for your diagnosis but after i got my score ( m.b. 2morow ) it will be usefull for all guys to assess my advice based on my score. i.e. if i dont pass so it means the problem was the way i prepared but if got a good score it will mean that my preparation was ok and all friends can get benifet from it so this was my point of view. thanks for your pray and i feel that you will be a great doctors

Very Sorry to hear that , with in 3 weeks period your result has not been posted. But, all my friends and my Step 1 result got hand with in 3 weeks thats why I wrtoe that post. If it is not yet updated than you have to wait for 1 more week. Sometime, ECFMG people gets too busy with us that they dont get time to upgrade on their scheduled setting. It is not that they dont like to but they are really busy ...as, you know the matching session is knocking at the door. Everyone who wants to get match 2008 ,already started sending their Deans letter and other staffs ..So, it takes some time. Dont worry ...you will get that very soon. Now just pray for yourself and us and dont concentrate on result too much as it will make you sick. What you did is already done ...so, dont worry for that much. May the Almighty reward your effort with great success.Fingers cross !!!!!

Go get started taking prep for Step 1.... 1 week preparation will not do any harm to you. My suggestion is , just do what you want to do except thinking for result..........
