I may not know the exact answer, but the central vein was the only one I excluded because it runs in the center of the hepatic lobule so how could it be outside the lobular area confused

  #4

I took it as if it was asking me the Hepatic Triad Where Central Vein is not included. i will chk up on it.

Ok i think i have Got it. Either the Question is Incomplete or Wrongly Written. Guessing from the Answers given the Question shud have been :-

Which of the following is NOT located outside of the lobular area of the liver?

Cos the Central Vein is not Outside its the Core Around which the hepatic parenchyma is made. and the 3 choices r all outside there is no reference that i could find in any book or site. So unless u dont put a NOT there it doesnt make sense at all.

Any Comments Guys.

Yup definitely something missing or we are missing a point.

  #10

Ok, here's a better clarification:

The vessel that lies outside of the portal triangle is?
Portal Vein
Central Vein
Hepatic Artery
Bile Duct

So it seems like the Central Vein lies outside then.

  #11

Yeah, it's now clear.nod

  #12

the answer is B as I think.
because branche of portal vein is located in area between the lobules.
while central vein is formed in the core of lobule and also bile ductules are formed between hepatic cells in the lobule.
anyway,I need to see my histology book and if my answer was wrong I'll send you,GOd willing.
anyway,(igor999)'s suggestion is really good and very common and typical question.

  #13

D i think~~

  #14

it's which one is located outside PORTAL TRIAD of liver

It means A, B and C are parts of the portal triade

D is located centrally in the classic lobules

which means there is no way that you can pick a single right answer no matter how you interpret the vaguely termed question
