Hi friends,
I applied for step2 ck and on the process of sending the form 183.I have my final MBBS certificate but unfortunately I lost my 2nd and 3rd year degree documents.do I need to produce those documents to ECFMG?
as am away my country am unable to get those documents soon.
I coudnt find any information from ECFMG website. can anybody advice me on this issue

I am not that sure, but I think I remember that in ERAS there will be a section where we can upload our marksheets, but my friend had told me that there are slots for only 3-4 sheets and we cant fit in all the years' marksheets. I think you should anyway try for getting duplicates of them from your school, but no need to panic. Also send this question to the forums on Match, those trying for residency, they might know more.
all the best and hope you get your marksheets. call ERAS. As far as I know, all the marksheets are not necessary for ECFMG certification but for ERAS and interviews I am not sure.

no need for applying to step 3 . just your MBBS degree is enough. however, these days, they do have a new requirement, the tanscript! which has all the subjects marks on one single sheet. they issue if you request them,especially if you have plans for usa. now since you have come here, ask one of your friends in india toapply and get you one. it is no problem, you will get your scheduling permit and take up the exam. you should submit that before getting the ecfmg certified though
