Thank you so much khorshid and other friends! I think I could write a few points to future test takers now-----Don't worry, it will be short and will try my best to be sweetwink

My preparation:

I am a Masters student here and preparing step 2 simultaneously was a tough job.However, I had enough time during summer to concentrate on step 2.I had 4 months for step 2 out of which 2 months were full time.

Few tips:

1.Study hard! When thinking back retrospectively, I would say my daily targets helped me.Plan well and Please stick to the plan.
2.The road is NOT at all smooth. You will definitely face ups and downs. Few situations might even push you to the brim of frustration.The bottom line is NEVER GIVE UP! Nobody will give you a prestigious residency position by walking through the smoother path!It all depends on how well you use the harder path!
3.Use this forum as it suits you. Some might use it for motivation, some might use it for knowledge by participating in discussion.I would say I used the forum for discussion initially and was looking for motivation in the later part of my preparation.It was immensely helpful for me to push myself harder!
4.Just stick to things which motivates you! For example,from my friend's advice, I used to say 'NO MATTER WAT I AM GOING TO GET A 99" atleast 100 times per day to myself. It may seem silly but I bet , it worked for me!
5.Your mantra must be UW! Go over it again and again as many times possible.

My method;

I used to make a small(at the end it became a very big) note for each subject and used to write my mistakes daily. Like, "Change Yourself---->treatment of GBS is NOT steroids, It is IV Immunoglobulins"
Believe it or not--->This helped me a lot! Try to find out your own method and you could definitely see with the help of UW and other assessment exams whether this method is working!

Finally, I would like to add my scores during my prep:

UW : 71% (Mixed mode)
NBME Form 2:700 (10 days before the exam)

Al the best to all of you and let me know if you need any help!Thanks!
