How is pancreatic lipase activated? Is it by trypsin?

Not tyrypsin. Lipase is activated in the presence of bile salts and colipase at the water-substrate interface.

I agree with paraboxa, you need Colipase to displace bile salts from the micelles so that lipas can attach to it and digest it.
