The early orchiectomy was indicated in the past. Recent studies however indicate that there is a very low risk of testicular malignancy up to 18 yrs of age in pts with androgen insensitivity sdr and recommend the surgey after 18 y/o. I would go with the Kaplan choice, but this is just my decision.
