no no u have 2 use a review book 4 pharma FA is not enough=> plz remeber pharma is highly tested
y dont u use kaplan 4 behsci believe it is much better than HY, or at least watch dr.daugherty or listen 2 his audio they r really important
mm since u r done with 1st read 2 more should b enough & doable

thanx for the prompt reply yoga, I have read pharma one read from Katzung review pharma, have made notes too, I will add it during my revision, I was feeling lazy to read those notes  .I have forgotten most of it!!
I have also listened to Dr. daugherty's lecture (twice). Infact all the Kap DVD's except Pathology. Yes one more thing I have read BRS Behavioral science by Fadem. Just was thinking to give fast reading to HY BS...
Thank you for the suggestion... I will take NBME after finishing my second read...

i think u r doing good, u did what any1 supposed 2 do so focus on doing the mcq
how long did it take u 2 read katzung? it felt it is lengthy so i just read some chapters from it & rest from KLN
so u started since 5 mo or u r left with 5 mo?

Hey Yoga,
I forgot to mention abt the books read, coz I have really forgotten the material...
I have 5 more months b4 I plan to give the exam...
katzung took around 2 months... it was very lengthy, I read it 6 months b4...I wasnt serious at that time... then were my college exams, so studied slowed down in between.
My views about the DVDs...
Biochemistry and molecular Biology, I found them very good, I like the way the teacher speaks and makes you understand... and his sense of humor is not too bad.
Anatomy-- slow but very informative, there were many points that I added to my HY from his lectures
Neuro- first time when I heard the lectures, I thought that I am retarded, the guy runs like crazy... he seems concerned with finishing his lectures only, may be coz i was very very afraid of neuro, but, after reading HY, when I listened to him, he was not bad.. though still I found his speed a bit fast
Histology- havent heard till now
Pharma-just a couple of lectures and I didnt want to listen anymore, Katzung reveiw was more interesting, at that moment...
Genetics- it was good, and there were some points that I added to kaplan notes from the lecture...
Micro ..ok, I wonder how fast that guy finished the micro lectures.But when you read Hy along with the lectures you find everything there + the extra bit you need. Immuno- I dont remember anything which was in the lecture, after reding jawetz, I need to listen to the lectures again to compare and know how well I understood. May be when i listened to the lectures b4 my understanding was not so good in immuno, so as to make any impression.
Physiology= bottom line point ... the guy teaches you patience along with physiology..
BS= the teacher has so much command over his speech, he knows how to teach.. makes your mind recall.... good lectures
