Hi, can anyone give any advice, keen to do CS do I need B1 visa or can I go over via the visa waiver scheme? Is the exam classed as studying or work or neither?

I don't think you need a special visa. I'm a US citizen but I did my step 1 in London and i just got the normal 6mth visa they give at the airport. I guess it should be the same when you go to the US for cs. The US embassy in UK sld have a website so check what activities qualify. Sorry i cldnt help more.

does anybody know if european citizens need any sort of visas to do their step2 CS?

Search with the "visa waiver program" U will find what U need.



euro citizen can enter US under visa waiver program fo buisness and tourism for 90 days period,,,,,,,,,,,but it is imp to check the exact regulations from official website e.g dpt of state or US embassy
