hey guys So i just got my score today and I got an average score of 85. I dont think there was anything else I could of done. I go to an average school. i just wish i got atleast in the 90's but atleast i got the nice PASS on my score report. Do you guys think Ill be a good cadidate for a good IM residency. I start rotations soon so Im hoping to honor those, but we'll see. My school gave us 1 month to study but I took an extra month and half to study because I wanted to do well but I did average. I watched all the Kaplan Vids, Golgan RRS with audios and Pass Program Vids. After that, I did USMLE World twice and read the First Aid 4 Times.

What do you guys think??

congratulation this is a very very good score as regard the short time of preparation you had , keep going and i hope you 99 for your step2

Thanks alot guys, I hope I can get that kind of score....all these people getting 99 is very impressive....The only thing that i wish I had done was read all the mol bio high yield...the little of it that I read was soo good for the boards. I was hopeing I would get little mol bio but i was wrong. I got heavy immuno and mol bio. The path and pharm were very strait forward. As for golgan and Usmle World, I think thats what got me above the 200 mark. Anyways good luck guys with yalls step.

do u mind telling us what ure scores were for UW world? i'd hope to get in the 80s

Well, my USMLE world score was about 58 total. My NBME one was 226, NBME 2 was 214 and NBME 3 was 219. I got lower than all my NBME becuase i got a hard exam that was loaded with mol bio and immno..my two most hated subjects.

I go to a top 2 carrib school so I just hope that I can land a good residency so that I may be able to specialize.
