Whats the first sign of CHF? Dyspnea or edema?

I would think Edema.

that is left side CHF.
Why is the dypnea? because of the edema

Pulmonary Edema will occur first then Dyspnea. Although the First Finding is a S3 Heart sound for Left CHF

For Right Sided the First is the JVP and Ankle Edema.

Also remember that left side heart failure is symptoms like dyspnea
right heart failure is signs like edema and big vein in the neck grin
