where is blood visscosity the greatest? the choices remembered are aorta and vasa recta....

In general the viscosity of the venous blood is higher becouse of:

Hematocrit is higher by about 3%

The Cl- shift into the RBCs (therefore water too)

Some fluid from the arteries returns by lymphatics rather than the veins.
