if you want to put it this way then this is how it really looks like cepahlic vein ----------> ----------> ----------> ----------> ......................................................................... .......... now together, ----------> subclavian basaclic vein ----------> brachial vein ----------> axillary vein This is an interval where cephalic vein run paralelle with axillary vein
