Hi I just joined the forum I took step 2ck without passing it ilastmonth. I used NMS textbooks, kaplan qbook and UW to study for it .Can someone pls tell me how next to prepare for it b/c I want to take it by Nov.

what were your % in UW, and qbook?
which one is more similar to the test?
Can you please share your experience with us biut the test.

I got 60% in UW and 70% in kaplan q book.The exam was difficult especially the last2 to 3 blocks for me.One has to undersatand the topics well as you read and their differential diagnosis.The questions were well balanced from all courses ,had about 4 from Biostat.It was tricky also and confuscing.Sometimes had 2 best answers in the same questionif u don't have a good grasp of it U'll make mistakes .Being long I was exhausted toward the end so U know how to manage your break.It was more like UW questions If U really understood what u read no matter how they twisted the questions U'll get it. It had easy questions also.I didn't have time management in the first few blocks but when it got hot I was almost choked where I was deliberating over the answers.The best thing is to give your answer,make intelligent guess in the ones U don't know and go ahead.
U can make it ,do your best .
