Hi, Hotels in NYC are very expensive, however there aret ways to take step 3 and still be affordable.

1. Stay with a friend, there many hospital within the city, maybe you can contac a resident there and he or she can give you a place to stay for a couple of days.

2. Try one of the small hotels in NYC, e.g. The Franklin, prices are about 100.00 per night, its located in the upper east side, in a very safe neighbourhod, downside, shared bathroom. Check it out in hotels.com. (its high season now)

3. Since step 3 is two days, you can stay in New Jersey and take the train every day, from NY penn station in 34th street to NJ tickets are around 15 dollars each way. Hotels in NJ have normal prices. (70-150)
so is cheaper, and if your going to take your test in one penn plaza the NJ transit train last stop is in penn station.. so you dont have to take subway.

4. Share a room with someone.

Hope it helps

Hi Chuckmd, I appreciate your helpsmiling face, I called 2 hotels close to the test center but they were fullshaking head, finally I found one close to the center..., it´s not that cheap but it´s ok..., maybe I could find a cheaper one but considering transportation and time issues I´m gonna pay the same at the end confused...

I knew NYC was expensive but not that muchgrin

Thanks Chuckmd
