my sister is graduating this year from USA..so we will definitely get the visitors visa for graduation year...ne1 has idea about the visa duration offered on the above pretext?i am intrstd in doin electives after 1 year..so i am hoping to get 10 yrs visa with multiple entry.my father is handicapped and we have immovable assets in my fathers name

First of all, her graduation is not a guarantee that you will be granted a visa. I have heard lots of cases wherein people are on their deathbeds and relatives were not given the chance to visit. With the US immigration offices, you can never assume anything. Big chance that only your mom is gonna be given one. I have read lots of instances like that.

the only way is to try again

but dont be frustrated if rejected


keep in mind that laws r changing continously so keep trying
