i have three letters of recommendations upon which i have waived my right to see.

all three of them have written strong LORs for me, that's what they say.but the real problem is, all LORs run into two pages and they only have the signature in the second page. is that OK...? please tell me. otherwise i have to contact them again and get new LORs.

also, is there any special envelope that needs to be used to send LORs...? just the usual airmail cover, or will the ERAS provide a specific envelope as the ECFMG sent to our medical schools for credential verification...?

Yes, the letter is okay. Letters are traditionally signed at the end, not on each page.
I can't answer about how to send the letters - that's the side I don't see.

Except the LOR cover sheet that you should have given to your writers(with your name and AAMC ID on it) there are no special requirements about how to send it(no special envelops either).

good luck...

no, if the writers are sending the letters, all that is required is the LOR cover sheet. Basically both a used as identification for the documents, so the cover sheet is absolutely sufficent if the writers are sending it directly. If you are the one sending stuff of course you will use the doc submission form.

thanks medicus_81, and lecheah.

one last doubt...

my letters of recommendation are in sealed covers, each one in one cover. BUT, since all the letter-writers, come from the same institution where i have already completed a 3 yr pediatric residency, they got together and decided to send it in one big bunch to save on the freight charges for me, as i was a sincere hard-working resident that they all liked ...!! is that OK...? i mean, will the ERAS STILL CONSIDER SUCH LETTERS AS WAIVED ONLY...? since they will arrive there in the same bunch, they won't get overly suspicious, will they...?!!

i am not sure jaydoc, but i think the best is for u to ask eras support directly. they r pretty prompt in their reply. email them at eras-support@ECFMG.org. good luck grin
