hello every body.
i am international student in us and this is first time in an english forum.
let me tell u about me first. i got accepted in an university in rhode island in cytopathology master program but i really intersted in genetics
I would like to know what is the rrelationship between genetics and cytopathology???
also i would like to know if I finish my master can I enroll in fellowship program without doing a residency???

Hello uri,
If your final objective is to practice as a physician or a specialist physician in the US, then residency is a must. However you may do fellowship in a non-clinical stream, based on your masters. This forum is specifically for residents and residency applicants in pursuit of becoming a licensed physician, so you may not recieve the specific information that you want.
