If you add an +NH3 to Uracil which base do you get? What base do u get if u add +CH3 to Uracil?

The way I remember it is: C-->U-->T If you add a CH3 to uracil, you get Thymine, which is a methylated Uracil. If you add a NH3 to uracil, you move the opposite direction (to the left) and will get Cytosine.

yes, Now let us link this with pharma.. :arrow: Resistance to Cytosinearabinoside related to increase in deaminase enzyme .converting it into uracil arabinoside. :arrow: methotrexate is also one example...where by inhibiting DHFR it prevents conversion of dUMP--->dTMP( i.e uracil to thymine)
