Hi, I wanted to know what score on UW is good enough to pass step 3 comfortably?? Also does nbme for step 3 has ccs part or is it only mcqs ?? Thanks in advance

People say 55% on UW..., NBME has only mcqs...

I ve been getting avg score of 55% on UW. This corresponds to 27th percentile. This means only 27% people scored less than 55%. I cant imagine what % score on UW would correspond 75th percentile to pass step 3. Please help if I ve got it wrong.

I got 58% total but only 34% percentile Do not know why

k00l: You don't have to be on the 75th percentile to pass. The 2-digit score is not a percentile. If it were, only 1 out of 4 people who sit for the exam would pass. Good luck!

Unfortunately I can't tell you that for Step 3, I've just started my prep. For other Steps, 50% correct answers seems to have a very high positive predictive value (pass versus fail only). I can't say confidently that it can be extrapolated for Step 3, although I hope so.
