Hey NNL, take a look at this pdf. It might be what you are looking for:

can anyone predict the relation between kpln q book score and approximate step 1 score.
doing q book right now .am little confused.

You can estimate, or rather, guesstimate your offline NBME by taking the score and and multiplying by 3. So a 70% correct is about a 210. I think you can do the same for the Kaplan qbank, qbook and assessment exam also. For UW, there is some calculation, I think it is UW cumulative average * 2.39 +84 = approximate step 1 score. I have seen different numbers for this one, though.

Thanks ..... LIDC , for the correlation , on last page has more correlation , is that different from earlier page or any sinificant why it has last page of some more correlation ?

Thanks... NnL to open up this thread, hope more member will give all input & this will be sticky for future use, since all are sperading over.
Also this is 1st time I saw cvorrelation, without calculation, just the chart like BMI , so it's really good & save our brain, calculation , thanks to LilI [ LIDC ].

Ed... thanks for easy calculation , multiply by 3 too , can you elabrate more for other Qs, tests how to calculate, are all have to multiply by 3 of your % correct too ?? , Thanks Ed .

No, Shwe, I have no further info, other than what I posted. Again, it is just to 'guesstimate' nod If anyone else has more info, please post it here smiling face

I remember a long time ago this
1.5x number of questions correct

so if you score a 110 correct 1.5= 165
But I think is not accurate, I never use it.

Its interesting that for step1 the grade example is someone with a 310=166
but for step2 and step3 the examples are in the 400

i dunt think this UW score* 2.3+80 is valid...
coz a fren of mine had a cummulative score of 65%, but scored 205/83.

For UW my I repeat MY formula that work for me was
2xUW+84 and it gave me a really close call with the NBME
2X44+ 84= 172 I take NBME4 = 172
2x48+84= 180 I take NBME3= 184 close enough

They say that if you score in the 400 for NBME1 -2 you substract 20 in my case that was also true.
