1. What is the Gest Age at which every Pregnant Women should be Screened for GBS ? 2. How do we Screen for GBS ? 3. Which Preg Pts recieve Prohlyaxis without having to be Screened for GBS and WHEN do they recieve Prophylaxis ? 4. If Screening is Positive for GBS, WHEN (i.e. Antpartum, Intrapartum, PostPartum and HOW do we Treat Pts? 5. What are ALTERNATIVE Drugs if Pt is Allergic to the Prphylactic Drug of Choice?

1. 1st prenatal visit for Chlamydia & gonorrhea, &GBSC & again at 33-36 wks for Chlamydia & gonorrhea & GBSC 2. Urine analysis & culture, culture from vagina & cervix 3. Prolonged rupture of memb or if they had the first prenatal screen +ve but didn't have a screen again, & the last one (i'm not sure) never been screened 4. According to mode of delivery, Vaginal--> prepartum, CS--> after cord is dissected 5, Drugs used r , penicillin or amoxacillin, 1st generation cephalosporins, & I think if absolute allergy--> nitrofurantoin, azithromycin

if +ve on the second screen (33-35)wks, give abs untill labor
