in the CAF where we have to describe our duties how do we go about it?

for instance do we use bullet points or a descriptive paragraph?

Can anyone post an example for any primary care track..ie like how would we descibe a rotaiting internship?

Go for point form, it will be easier for the PD's/chief residents to review it and ask you about it the minute before your interview (trust me that's when most ppl see ur actual application) for your rotating internship, give a brief description of what you did in each rotation. Keep it informative, and highlight what you think is key.

Yes I am asking for page 5, as I dont have any prior residencyor fellowship experience.

I have put all details of internship, house jobs, and work experience in this section..do u think thats ok?

ARe you talking about clinical rotation (core/electives in 3/4th year) ? if yes, then just general description of the rotations duties..etc..H&P, sutering...blah..blah...

also...what do you put under POSITION ? same page

i had the same problem.I liked nisha's idea putthing things in bullets.

but can ony one give a genreal idea about house-post job defination..

I don't believe your medical school rotations go on your CAF. (they should be on your transcript).

And programs know what you do during clinical rotations, i don't think we need to say H&P, suturing, etc...

no i am not referring to the 3rd/4th year electives...i am referring to the internship which we do right after finishing our 4th year.

i am told this is something we repeat in PG-1 when we get a res , but back home (india) we have to do an years internship before we are awarded our degree.

i have put a very brief one liner to this effect in my CAF, and mentioned which departments i did it in
i have described my other jobs like house jobs etc in more detail, bullet point style

Is it possible to put details of experience in bullet point style...? When I tried, it wasn't coming the same way in the CV? So how do you guys put that in bullet point style? In my belief, ERAS doesn't alllow special charectors, but just plain text.....
