'Oasis trick' is for those of us who dont go to U.S. medical schools. It's a backdoor mechanism built into the application on the ECFMG website to check to see whether we passed or not. Many of us look for the sacred 'red screen' to put ourselves at ease till we get our scores 2 days to several weeks from that point. From what friends have told me, it takes longer than 2 days when the score is being sent outside the U.S. With the advent of the new electronic scoring system. There might not be a need for these back door 'tricks'!!!!
