hi, my strongest lor writer has written me an lor which is about 1.5 pages long. Actually it is that long because the letter head takes up a lot of room on each page..is this ok?

thanks for the reply azygous.

i was speaking to a professional editor and he said they should not be more than one page in length

..is this a problem?

no it shouldn't be, if the letter is only 2 short paragraphs then it is a death to the letter. Be glad that your letter is 1.5 pages...

Agree... Short letter is letter about nothing... My longest letter is 4 pages, and it describes me from any possible position and my suitability for the program... And, just because the letter is from a true authority in the filed, I think he did right that he spent his time to say everything about me rather than mention in general words who good I am...
