I have a doubt i need to clarify
will categorical programs (those which are offering prelim plus anesthesiology)in anesthesiology be open for 2008?i got the impression that many categoricals seem to be filled up for 2008 .
frieda has been last updated only in feb 2007.so emailing programs seems to be the only way to get information,right?

call the program; anyway they have to interview for 2009/2010 regardless if their program can offer or not preliminary position in IM.

some of them are offering categorical positions and some just advanced it depends on the program that is something you should find out for each program you are interested.. Anyways, the eras gives you the option to apply to advanced or/and categorical as long as the program offers this type of positions...
