hello friends!! great to see so many of you dropping in. encourages me a lot!  thanks!
i managed to liste a lot more of barone's baritone. am so looking forward to completing the vids. with goljan, am as far as fluid and hemo, and i realize i already know most of it, thanks to wazir kudrath. thanks, w.k.!! again, my brain jumps with answers as he asks his qns. his jokes too make me guffaw!! if you pee in the ocean, it isn't going to turn yellow ...............LOL!!! what a clear way to put it!!!!
well, tomorrow being sunday, i intend to do at least a couple of goljan lectures, perhaps catch up on some qns. haven't done those in a while!! very bad, i know!!

Dr. Kudrith is definitely the man! I had the pleasure of listening to him during my Intro to clinicals semester and I think half the girls in the class were in love with him or atleast in love with his jokes. well, sunday morning here. another week has flown by .....quite amazing really. time is zipping by!!
what have i accomplished this week? i'm done with more than half of the kaplan path vids. am now into day 2 of papi. nearly through with fluid and hemo.
what's my plan for next week? finish up barone's vids in a day or two. yep, i'm likely to end up with a headache at the end of the day if i try that. but it will be worth it, if that means i can finish up with the starters and move on to the main course!!!
what do i aim at doing today? go through some more goljan audios. must must, simply must do some qns today. been more than a week since i did any qns. and i will regret this closer to my exam date. i just have to do some qns today!!

3/4 of the day is gone. listened to nearly 2 hrs of mr biceps. did a half block of uw.
and these are what i learned today, among much more:
Valvular abnormalities:
1] Rheumatic fever- mitral stenosis, mitral regurg, aortic stenosis
2] Infectious endocarditis- produces valvular insufficiency [aortic, mitral, tricuspid, and/or pulmonary] NOT stenoses!!
Aortic Stenosis- produces diamond shaped, [crescendo-decrescendo] systolic murmur.

Your patient presents with head bobbing, "water-hammer" pulses and a BP of 190/90. Before you even listen to his heart you suspect which type of mumur that is characteristic of what valve abnormality?
