Hey paheli..hope mom is recovering well and u r getting back to studies... .
dont be gloomy anymore dear and just go on....u will surely do great !! as for me..i do come to the forum everyday....to see posts in ck and splly in match forum...saw some of ur posts too....i never had been there before....was cheking on the posts in the credentials thread.... ......loooong way to go....waitin for the results now.....and in need of everything ..visa..lor..usce.pubs..research exp...work exp(though i worked in 2 private hosp for few mnths..left them without taking certificate!! :mad ......OMG.. where to start from !!.
have to start asking the seniors around.

sos, my exam is not too far, i can feel the rumble as it thunders toward me. it should be on me soon. i'll keep you guys posted when i do decide on the final UNCHANGEABLE date, coz i'll need everyone's wishes!! 
antidepressant, hey. thanks for visiting my journal.what do you mean 'i was scared of posting here'?? should i modify my journal's title to be 'journal of paheli's journey, and she doesn't bite'???!!! as long as we're all in step 1, we're all in the same boat. no worries, so post away. how long have you been prepping? about my prep, i sometimes feel it's been too long, and sometimes, not quite enough time at all. i don't think it can feel any other way. at least for me. my test is too close for comfort, and i have an insane amount of stuff to cover....and the days are flying.

Did you take any NBMEs yet? If you still didnt, dont you think it would be a good idea to take one of them? at least you'll recognise your weak points ( hopefully you dont have any ) then you can concentrate on them a little more.

how long? did i mention, it all started in this year,got married, i had several months break, i am not die hard kind personality, i take my time to do stuff, and i am old grad, i graduated 6 years ago, did MPH, after all this, i feel like did i ever graduated from med school. anyway. not an ideal student.
GG, not old age wise, but member wise, see you have 53 post, so i have to show respect in that regard. the best thing about this forum is so many options it has, and i like journals, i like rambling.
By the way, Paheli, sorry to intrude in your journal, as far as i have seen GG doesnt have a journal.

paheli yes true!im busy w/ sucking uw,khatam hone ka naam he nai leyta,phew and with electricity cuts here have made me more slow than im usually,so bad scenario,eh? but im enjoying uw going slowly.well regarding ur query about using that highlight option,its simple i dont know where u getting problem with,BTW im not using it but i tried it,its working!
how u doing these days?just uw or other stuff too?im pissed with multitask i have scheduled,gosh how ppl manage so much in one day,i reallyy really wonder,any tip from u chalo new year is ahead,lets hope n pray for best year2008 for us tc!

ujk, you're one guy i definitely envy right now. no more monotonous blue kln, no more uw, no more unnaturally cheerful fa jacket cover.......you can tell, i'm pretty sick of step 1. can't wait to move on, but i'm not being released.......but i WILL break free.
GG, hey. hope the kiddo is up and about now. so, what are you reading these days? just curious. waiting for my drink....
kg, thanks for your reply. my highlight/strike-out option still not working. i will write them about it. since i rely on it a lot, and find it very helpful. i even feel i score better when i use it, but that could be my paranoia....
it's the end of another year, almost anyway, how things have changed in 2007, for me at least. i'm where i did not really expect to be.......career-wise, personal-life-wise.....some good, some bad, so it's quite bitter-sweet, but certainly for the best. no doubts. this usmle journey is harder than i imagined when i jumped on the wagon, and i sometimes feel like saying adios to it all, but then i realize that the harder the climb upward, the better the view. so, i better not leave my glasses/lenses and camera behind!
