ok, people, today's update. managed to make decent headway in HY Beh Sc. also completed a block of supposedly beh sc qns, from ol' BSS. 20% of the qns turned out to be cvs phys. WTH??!!  then, i went and scored 80%. another WTH??!!!! this better be the start of a trend, and not a fluke!! what i'd give for such scores in UW!!! *paheli stares off into space*
well, gotta run now. a little bit hungry. gotta forage for some grub.....

My review of HY Cell and Molecular Biology:
i am currently reading this book having gone through kln mol bio first, so am not sure of the initial intro has made any difference in this current read. but, i think HY cell and mol bio is a very good book for those running out of time. the book, like the others in its series, is no frills. it has none of the luxuries of nearly half-empty pages and extra-wide margins, like those given in kln for your annotations. it doesn't have any of the expansive diagrams given in other books. this is a skeleton, meant for use by the efficient reader. it is small in size, hence not intimidating. not a book to be tried out right before your test. but, for those who are aiming at a high score and have doubts over whether kln is absolutely enough, i think this is a good book to supplement your prep with. it has cleared a few nagging concepts for me, and it's just a different way of looking at a subject. having read the same book, over and over again, your reading becomed forced and passive - just the type that is NOT useful to ace the usmle. this book is a good alternative.

hi GG! thanks for coming! whatcher reading these days? about 2 days ago, i was looking for your journal, to visit you there. couldn't find it. whatever happened to it? have you deleted it too, like so many others? sometimes makes me wonder why i continue with mine........
as for me, it's a little break time now. got the music on.........LOUD. expect the neighbors anytime now, so better enjoy it before they come.[they're old folks]  yep, got the house to myself this weekend and following week!! almost perfect. now, if only i could get rid of these darn books........!!!

hey, doc499. i dont have BRS Beh Sc, so have not used it, cannot comment on it. but, i have used HY Beh Sc, the review of which i wrote a few days back. you're welcome to go through it. howz your prep coming along?
p.s. FYI, both the books are written by the same author, btw.

Hm, Friday night, and the best company what I know for the last months are the cold pages of the books ! So you were looking for me , that's nice. Yeah, I deleted it loooong time ago, somehow lost it's purpose,and if I would be at least half as good writer as you are, I would had kept it ! So don't even think of deleting yours! Oh, I love to play music crazily loud, old habit from good school times, good to shake up those neurons......Take care and nice weekend !

PHL........ physio 2 read done, that's cool , really cool , new kap Ln with new dvd center or old one ??
I also try to do 2nd read from anatomy but it dioes not work yet , so , doing assorted .
We all used to be crazy for papi audio, LN ,live, RR, etc, by time all of us are in , so why not this time we all are in HY molecule then .
By the way ur reading old one 1999 or newer one, if new , shed the light what more in 7 should we get new one or not ??
Love ur new pure white bunch of flower with touch of yellow [ good for studying as per reseach ] .. white show fresh, refresh & go well along with ur motto or logo perfection
HY behav will have to read , miss alot of post to raed due to crazy days this month & next mo will be busier till Christmas done , hope not crazy though

it's funny, coz it's already sat morn here, so am back with my love-of-the-moment, i.e. HY Mol and Cell Bio.......still can think of having fun occasionally, and maybe plan for tonight!
well, shwe, am reading '99 edition. i've read that the new one is too much. anyway, this is the one i already had, so that's the one i'm sticking with. am in the Oncogenes chap currently, as you can see from my post above. must finish the book by today. can't spare more time than that. we don't need to race each other, shwe, i'll be more than happy to finish as co-winners in good time!

hi dear..thanks a lot for ur timely advice regarding uw. u helped me a lot . but know what..my second read is just not in its track at all. i wrote the reason in my journal. i also thought of going thru HY mol bio once after reading ur review.but i am feeling as time is just running by and i am stuck at one place !!
its good to see u r doing ur second read nicely..i really hope to catch up..though its so tough now....more than 100 qs a day along with revision .

I agree this stuff is very essential. If you combine the Moleciular biology in Biochem and Neoplasia chapter in Pthology, KLN also has it. But it isn't so readymade I agree.
Seriously where were u when I was studying??? Thanks for your prayer for me. I hope not to disappoint you.
I hear you have taken a test date??? Good luck. This should get you to go all the way.
Also second messengers are bloody important. Know them inside out. Good luck.
