hey everyone

ecfmg had sent my transcripts for verification to my med school long back. my med school had verified and returned the transcript. but today i saw a letter saying

now it will take a long time for my med school to complete the verification and post it to ecfmg.

does anyone know if and how will it affect my application process? will i be able to send my application in september even without my transcripts being verified ?

i know that ecfmg wont release my ecfmg certification till med creds are verified but i m not sure abt the impact it may have on my application process...

I don't think this will affect your application, except the fact that you won't be ECFMG certified. You can still apply normally with the exam results and just hope and pray that the verification will be successful. With me the whole process took almost 5 months because it needed to go back to my med school for a second time. Good luck to you!
