hi guys...can u please tell me how to read for CS.i have been trying since a few days and all i hear from people is to practice and practice a lot which i understand.but every case given in USMLEWORLD is different for eg there r diff questions to ask in a withdrawn patient or a patient of dementia or a child.do i remember every point?
and for every patient do i need to follow the mnemonic PAM HUGS FOSS?please guide me..my exam is 15 days away.

great question!

i would think that you have to do the PAM HUGS FOSS for every patient.

i am working my way through USMLEWORLD too. but you are right, it is hard to remember everything.

Well , i think you should ask about Fever ,Bowel changes, ion changes ,Sleep changes, appetite ,weight ... always

I also think that u should do a quick ROS everytime ,asking one question from each system

PAM HUGS FOSS is must for very case. set the cases system wise( git, cardio, respi, cns). there are common questions for every system which will be repeated in all the cases from that system. so make a note of them it will be easy for u that way.
