This is the message in the oasis but I want to know if they have recieved the LOR from a doctor or the packet that I sent them few days ago. Both of these should have been recieved by ERAS by now. Is there any specific message that shows up in oasis for LOR only? I will be calling ecfmg on Monday and thought some of you might have some idea about this.

If your sent the LOR with the whole package then don't worry that means they got it!!! If you sent it outside the whole package then that could mean 2 things: they still don't got it or they got it but haven't put the info in their system. If you send documments apart you will get info apart. For instance each of my LOR's were sent by my LOR writters and I have each letter info apart.... but since you sent a whole package they are just letting you know that the whole package is safe and sound and since anything can go out of the package if you put your LOR in there then it must be there!! remember the whole point of this is to let you know that they got the things!!!! Don't worry too much...also you should not call ECFMG until it has been more then 2 weeks since you sent your stuff and it doesn't appear on oasis...but like I have told you this does not apply to your case since your things are there including your letter which as I understand was inside the whole pakage...I recommend to relax a little..I know this whole process is very stressing but you are getting a little more stressed then you should for something that you shouldn't. Take care and I hope I have answered your question.

Hello GLO MD,
I appreciate your input but what I want to know is when they recieved the letter from the LOR writer, what is the message in the oasis? Is it "eras packet recieved" or just that "LOR recieved". The LOR was sent by my LOR writer and rest of the package was sent by me few days later. I am just curious which one did they recieved.

Oasis will show "LOR from ........(name of doctor) received". My letters were written and sent by the physicians directly and each one of them showed separately on Oasis- with name and date of receipt. Sometimes it takes several business days for them to update OASIS even though they have received it. So don't worry, it probably has arrived, just give it a couple of dayswink

I sent my documents in two packets one week apart. First bpack had deans letter 3 LOr AND TRANSCRIPT. second time i sent 2 more LORs. Now ADTS says "they recieved eras`packet, and two LOR (that i sent separately) While the uploaded documents list shows Deans letter, transcript, and ecfmg certificate. Is there anyway of knowing if they did recieve and uploaded the first 3 LORS i sent first.

I agree with medicus 81...if your LOR writter sent it it says the name of the LOR writter and "received"... so if your LOR writter sent it you will have to see that message....but there is no need to call if it hasn't appear in the system and 2 weeks have not elapsed.

guys has exactly what i said, i checked it on oasis, eras verify reciept documents and there it says they recieved the first packet on 23 july...and then it mentions two LORS that i sent later on 30 july...but no mention of the previous 3 lors that i sent with the eras packet....How can i find out if they did recieved and upload my PREVIOUS 3 lor?

If the lors were in the packet, they will not be notified separately.
