Dear, FA is not a primary book to handle and it is only revision material to the Kaplan notes. So unless you are thorough with your kaplan I am sure you wont find anything usefull from it.

Who Said Go thru it. Seriously i havent Touched for a major revision. I simply read it as Novel which gives me a no tension issues. Go For Rapid Review Honestly the book which COvers PAth and then Almost 2/3 Immunology, 1/2 Genetics , 1/2 Micro and 1/3 Neurology and It does make sense and is complete with Pictures.

this is totatally normal espcially if ur starting with FA without doing primary sources 1st or if u didn't absorb the material well ! though i dunno what is ur method, i'm assuming u did a 1st read if u already did kaplan go thro open the pages along with 1st aid and review from it what u don't get from 1st aid another way is combining it with USMLE word explaination : start doing UW world then while reading the answers open 1st aid and read same part from it , it will make much sense ! here u can add extra notes on it and use it later 4 review all what i can say at end is FIND UR OWWWWWWWWN WAY .. ppl differ in styles , and they way they study and intrestingly all wok! don't worry , u'll understand it soon

FA is high yield material it will give you a hint on exam day. You will answer the question from your remote memory. You can't be master on FA its humanly not possible. If you have done your indepth study then just read it over if you are near exam and if you have enough time like 4-5 months do your text. Do as many questions as you can you learn from your mistakes

King, from the previous posts its obvious that many dont know how much time you have left. So, please be carefull. Sure sooooooooo many people said that FA is one of the best books out there (and all that stuff that you already know of) but on the other hand i read an exam experience of a 99er that made it very clear that him and his friends (whom are 99ers too) did not use FA at all. So, if you are in this situation where you have almost no time to make your self familiar with a new book then please dont waste your time (sorry, but may be this is your mistake if you ddnt try to get used to the book earlier in your prep.). GL and take care
