Hey Folks, I finshed my CS & I am happy the way things went. To everyone whos preparing for it, just relax. But take it seriously. You need a lot of practise with someone whos a good actor & the best critic. please time your presentations. You will do excatly as you would do in a practise cos there is hardly any time for the thinking. so practice hard. Good Luck.

Hey Kochs, If you go thru my message, even i had the same concern which was solved by one of our colleagues. Never slide anything in. In female SPs, If you need to look for the PMI, tell them to lift their breasts gently , politely & firmly without any hesitation. And, while doing the examination of RS & CVS goes, just auscultate the aresa outside the BRA boundaries. Let me know if you need to know anything else.

Thanks gr8doc. Just a serious doubt, about what are the general examination features u did in all SPs . And about PSOAS sign -- Ther are 2 descriptions for it, one with pt to left side with extension of thigh on extended knee to elicit pain in retrocecal appendicitis and the other is is standard in supine with hip flexion against resistance. So which do we do??

I checked for the conjuctiva & the sclera for everyone along with the Cerical lymphnodes & also the oral mucosa along with the posterior pharynx. & Psoas sign is in left lateral position hyperextension of the hip joint.
