I reapplied for the visa in Cairo, Egypt . I gave the officer a strong financial file and academic file containing the following : 1.Letter from the dean to the consul general indicating that : I am a resident University hospitals , passed the first part of master degree in hepatology and expected to have the second part within one year , doing research work " Effects of Aging on GIT ", 2.Acceptance letter for observership for 3 months . 3.Scheduling permit , confirmation and visa letter sent by ECFMG for USMLE Step 2 CS . 4.Proof of passing USMLE Step 1 & 2 CK (82 & 77) ( low scores ) 5. A copy of my medical diploma . 6.CV. 7.Testimonial from my supervisor professor ( member of the American Association of Gastroenterology). 8. Testimonial from the Dean of my institution . 9.Itinerary of the booked flight . I am refused again without any apparent reason . I was clear in my suituation and honest . But I do not know how to convince them . What to do now ? Is it over ? Is it impossible for a scientific man to enter USA ? Please help me . I am very disappointed . Is it better to reapply (third time ) for the visa next Nov ( to avoid overcrowded summer months ) (first one was on June 2007, second on July 2007)?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I am single . Do you think being married would facilitate getting the visa ? If I apply for DV immigration now , would that be recorded at the consulate authorities ( and considered to be against me ) when I apply for NIV ? I think that once being rejected , the chances of rejection increase . Is it true ? Do you know people in the same suituation like mine and issued a visa on further applications ?

the only thing you can do is to reapply again soon and try to explain your reasons and that you will get back for your job. i know its difficult but always there is hope

i was rejected visa twice, and i asked the counsellor if it is a negative thing to be rejected, he said no its not negatie, u can reapply as many times... well who cares, we need the visa only once he asked me to show strong ties, but my problem is different, my parents are recent green card holders.. how can i show strong ties... when they are there.. my mistake was i told truth.. that parents are there... anyways I have to still pass all the step b4 I apply for visa again.. but you really need it. I think if you show ur property, or if you are really needed back by your family ....bank balance.. or if you can marry b4, it should be good enough.. best of luck, I know how bad it feels, but it will be better once you get the VISA... try again..

dear vwilldoit, I can't assume that all of the applicants who had the visa showed strong ties!!! I think in the case of salehhero, the cause is obvious, his low score, which has indication to them that he was not serious in his study, and he might do it just to enter US. and in your case, that you have told them the matter of your parents... be careful friends... Everything has a cause, even if it's silly
