well though its a treatment of phobia, what dr have done here is best fit in flooding.
but i don't think is the tx of OCD.

hi zaki, it is indeed the treatment for OCD. It is an anxiety disorder and the treatment includes behavioural therapy which includes exposure which it self is a part of flooding.
