Does anybody know how to sign up for a 2008 eligibility period? On the IWA website, I'm only seeing dates for 2007. Help somebody, PLEASE.

By the end of August? Oh man. I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and sign up for December now and then get an extension if I need it. Decisions, Decisions.

i don't understand (unless its a personal preference) why would it matter when you book the eligibility period - i mean whats wrong if you wait till the end of august and then book it? because if you book now and extend it there will be a $50 fee.

The ECFMG(r) 2008 Information Booklet and application materials are
expected to be available on the ECFMG website in mid-September. You can
use the 2008 materials to apply for:
- USMLE(tm) Step 1 / Step 2 CK eligibility periods ending in 2008, and
- USMLE Step 2 CS.
All dates are tentative and subject to change. Monitor the ECFMG website
for updates.
