Hi, do you have some pros and cons of PM session over AM? I am thinking of taking PM session since I am not a morning person. But I am wondering if the cases in PM are a little bit harder than those in AM. Does anyone have an experience or information about the PM session? Thank you.

They are the same..... but I don't know if they change actors which I think they probably do...if they don't change them they would be very tired by the time of your session....when I had my last cases after the meal break I even had a patient that was falling asleep when we were talking jajaja and this was not part of the show!!! I saw how tired he was and how badly he was struggling to fight it jijijiji but I believe he gave me a very good score since he knew I understood him and didn't mind jajajaja so..the point is I don't think they use the same actors but in case they do they would be very tired by the time you get to your session. And I've seen a lot of advices telling you to get the morning session and only get the pm when you have no choice (like if you work or something)....nobody is very good with mornings but believe me that you will wake up early that day and would want it to be over...having an afternoon session just builds up the pressure..I would not recommend it....

Hi GLO MD. Thanks for your advice. I understand waiting untill PM for my exam to start is very stressful. Could you tell me exactly why people advised you to take AM session? Did you hear about bad points of PM session other than the above aspect? Please let me know. Thank you.

Not at all...I don't think there is another set back then this.... everything is graded the same way and they use the same kind of cases.... it is designed to be similar so don't worry about that...for me it was an easy decision I decided to take the morning session for myself nobody told me that it was better but I'm a morning person when it comes to examinations...The earlier the better!!! and afterwawrs I can go and have a drink with my friends!!! So if you think afternoon is better for you go for it..it is exactly the same thing when it comes to the exame. GL

ugh... i have the PM session... and the stress is figuring out what to do with my car and getting a hotel room and wasting the day. 3-11pm in the exam. but i would think that there isn't a difference.

I don't know about your center but my center had a very nice free parking inside the building and I am very confident that they all will have one too. About the hotel you can look over the internet they have listed all hotels near the centers and the approximate prices. I recommend to get your hotel in advanced, I used expedia and that way you know exactly where you are going. If you go to LA, I stayed in the travelodge which was the cheapest and closest (2 blocks) but was very good and I also saw the hacienda which looked very nice and was one block away. Good luck and take care.

that would be awesome for free parking. i am taking it in Philly so i hear that it is across the street for $13/day. might as well get a hotel for one night and then walk over from a hotel. thanks!

Well in the internet they said that it was 13 dlls also and I was ready for it but then they stamped my parking ticket in the center and when I got to the exit they told me allright you are free to go...so that might happen' to you too...
